Jewellery care
This means our jewellery is designed to treasure for a lifetime, however, all jewellery will need to be cared for correctly over time.
Silver and Gold:
For solid metal pieces such as 925 sterling silver and 9k yellow gold, the shine of your jewellery will fade over time. To clean your jewellery we recommend warm water with a mild soap and a very soft brush followed by polishing cloth, or a professional jewellery cleaning service.
Gold plated jewellery:
Gold plated jewellery is an affordable alternative to solid gold. Our gold plated is a thin layer of 18k yellow gold over 925 sterling silver. When buying gold plated jewellery please be aware that special care is required, as the plating may fade with wear and improper storage.
We strongly recommend avoiding exposure to moisture and chemicals such as perfumes, chlorine, cosmetics, ultrasonic cleaning and household chemicals. Please remove plated jewellery prior to exercise, showering, moisturising and swimming.
To clean your plated jewellery we recommend warm water, mild soap and a very soft brush. Dry with a soft cloth and use a jewellery cleaning cloth to finish.
To extend the life of your gold plated jewellery we offer re-plating services for an additional fee. Please contact us at hello@efstudios.com to organise re-plating.
