Today, I’m thrilled to take you behind the scenes of my studio and share the artistry and dedication that goes into crafting our handcrafted jewellery. It’s a journey filled with inspiration, meticulous craftsmanship, and a touch of magic, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Every piece of jewellery I create begins with a spark of inspiration. Whether it’s the vibrant colours of a sunset, the graceful lines of a heritage building, or a story shared by one of my clients, I find beauty and potential everywhere. Inspiration can strike at any moment, and I love to capture those moments in my sketchbook, jotting down ideas and designs that I can’t wait to bring to life.

Once I have a concept, I work on sketches, exploring different themes and designs, and imagining how I can bring them to life through jewellery. Each collection tells a story, and I’m always excited to see how it unfolds.

When it comes to crafting jewellery, selecting the right materials is key. I’m committed to using ethically sourced and sustainable materials, and I personally select each gemstone and metal for its quality and character. My collections often feature precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum, along with semi-precious stones such as amethyst, topaz and peridot.

Once the materials are selected, it’s time to bring the design to life. Here’s a glimpse into the meticulous craftsmanship involved in creating each piece:

I start by shaping and moulding the metal using techniques like forging, casting, and soldering. This foundational work is crucial for ensuring the strength and durability of each piece.

Setting the stones is one of my favourite parts of the process. Carefully placing each gemstone into its setting, I make sure it’s perfectly aligned and securely held in place, allowing its natural beauty to shine.

To achieve the perfect finish, I take my jewellery through various texturing and polishing stages. This step adds depth and dimension to the metal, enhancing its shine and elegance.
